Peter is from Oldonyiro in Isiolo District, Northern Kenya. He joined Grevy's Zebra Trust in November 2007, with a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Kenyatta University. Peter is an exceptional conservation leader and as Field Director, spearheads field programs and is the primary community liaison link for the Trust. In August 2013, Peter was recognized as one of 14 Disney Conservation Heroes for his outstanding contributions to Grevy’s zebra conservation.
I am honored to host Peter at my bake sale during his visit to the U.S. Those of you attending to support this great cause should feel free to hang out and ask him questions!
